During Phase 1, you can claim up to 1000 USDC daily from the faucet to trade the Ethereum perps or become an LP for the ETH- USDC pool.

Phase 2 is open to all registered addresses, and we will offer signal-driven LP as an addition to ETH perps and traditional LP.

Is there a difference between phase 1 and 2?

Trading Questions

What is perpetual?

Perpetual futures in crypto are derivative contracts without expiration dates, allowing traders to speculate on crypto prices with leverage. Perps closely track spot market prices and use a funding mechanism to maintain alignment. They offer liquidity and are used for speculation and hedging, but involve high risk due to leverage.

Why do I see a Pnl immediately after opening position?

Unrealized Pnl accounts for trading fees so that could be why there is a negative pnl right after open. Besides, slippage also affects position pnl.

Does BBOX support leverage?

Yes. BBOX utilizes a cross-margin model where the concept of leverage is on the account level. Thus when you open a position, the max buying power translates to how much leverage you can have. We intentionally avoided a leverage slider to not cause confusion around the distinction between our cross-margin model and the isolated margin model commonly seen in centralized exchanges. Moving the slider to use up on buying power essentially means opening a position with max leverage against all your existing collateral.
